GSSSIETW Celebrated "International Women's Day Celebrations - 2018"

GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, celebrated “International Women’s Day 2018” on 21st April 2018, under IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group. An inspiring talk on “Reasons how and why women’s become achievers” was addressed by Chief Guest Smt. Bhanumathy Y.R, Scientist/Engineer ‘H’, Group director, Systems Reliability Group, ISRO Satellite Centre, Bengaluru.

She motivated our students to have a higher vision and also mentioned about the importance of family and society’s support for women success in various domains. She narrated about the working culture in ISRO and how women work in multiple projects in a systematic way. She also gave valuable information about recent accomplishments in satellites, challenges in spacecraft system and about the women acheivements in space and various other fields.
