The CSE (AI & ML) program is designed to equip students with cutting-edge technical skills tailored for the 21st cent
ury, aligning with the growing global AI market. As per the Precedence Research Report 2023, the U.S. artificial intelligence (AI) market size accounted for USD 103.7 billion in 2022 and is estimated to reach around USD 594 billion by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 19.1% from 2023 to 2032.
AI and ML job opportunities are expected to grow significantly in the next 5 years. With the increasing demand for advanced technologies in various industries, companies are investing heavily in AI and ML. This includes fields such as healthcare, finance, retail, and transportation. Some potential job opportunities to explore in this field may include data scientist, machine learning engineer, AI research scientist, and natural language processing specialist.

This program has established a state-of-the-art computing facility at our institution in collaboration with Samsung Innovation Campus. The facility is equipped with:
- 40 high-performance computers
- 03 GPU servers
- 02 Smart TVs
These resources are intended to provide students with rich hands-on experience in IoT, coding, and advanced computing, aligning with industry standards and real-time applications.
Currently, GSSSIETW has been sanctioned for 03 programs—Artificial Intelligence, Coding & Practice and IoT—under the Samsung Innovation Campus initiative. The training for these courses will be conducted by both internal faculty members and expert trainers from Samsung, ensuring a blend of academic knowledge and industry expertise. Additionally, students benefit from networking opportunities, real-world exposure, and better employment prospects, including potential internships and placements with leading tech companies.

Domain Specific Student Club

The Google Cloud Club (GCC) is a student-driven club from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) that is supported by Google Cloud. It aims to build awareness and expertise in cloud technologies among students by providing a platform to explore the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) through hands-on labs, quests, and real-world projects. The club fosters a collaborative learning environment where students can develop in-demand skills in areas such as cloud computing, application development, DevOps, big data, and machine learning. GCC members actively participate in technical sessions, earn digital badges and credentials, and gain exposure to industry-relevant tools and practices.
