VISION

To become one among the best departments in engineering and research arena, thereby providing very good academic ambience for the students to achieve academic excellence and to create an environment to develop competitiveness, matching skills for cutting edge technology, to continuously improve the quality of education by enhancing the knowledge of student and staff members.

MISSION

To impart quality education and develop the overall personality of the students to face the challenges of the real world and to lay the foundation for research and development activities for that students are motivated to face global challenges with high level of confidence to acquire real insight and to become self confident, committed and adaptable graduates.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Department of EEE was started in the year 2003, with an intake of 60 students. Our institution was the first women’s engineering college in Karnataka. Department is strengthened with 11 teaching faculty members and 2 non teaching staff members, the department has full-fledged laboratories as prescribed by VTU syllabus with modern equipments.

Department has Student association called EEESA (Electrical and Electronics Engineering Students Association)which conducts many activities throughout the academic year like, industrial visits, technical talks, collage presentation,

Quiz and co-curricular activities.

The annual fest of this forum is named “IMPULSE” will be celebrated in the month of April/May of every year. The department has an active renewable energy club called “Akshaya Urja Club “(AUC) under which third party inspection of rural solar electrification was done. Many awareness programs for school children are also arranged under AUC. Staff members are very active in research work and there by published research papers in reputed journals.
